Terms and Conditions for Car Rental Services

Welcome to our online platform. Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully. These Terms govern your access to and use of our car rental and hire services in Singapore. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

• "We," "Our," "Us" refers to the car rental and hire service provider operating this online platform.
• "You," "Your" refers to the individual or entity accessing or using our services.
• "Vehicle" refers to any car or vehicle provided by us for rental purposes.
• "Rental Agreement" refers to the specific agreement entered into between you and us for the rental of a Vehicle, which incorporates these Terms.
• "Services" refers to the car rental and hire services, including the use of our online platform, rental calculator, and other related features.

2. Eligibility and Driver Requirements

• You must be at least 21 years old (or such other minimum age as required by specific vehicle categories or insurance policies) and possess a valid driving license recognized in Singapore for a minimum of one year.
• International driving permits must be presented along with the original driving license.
• We reserve the right to refuse rental to any individual who does not meet our eligibility criteria or for any other valid reason.

3. Booking and Rental Process

• All bookings are subject to Vehicle availability.
• Our online platform allows you to select car types, rental periods, and view estimated prices using the rental calculator.
• A confirmed booking constitutes a binding agreement to rent the Vehicle under these Terms.
• You must provide accurate and complete information during the booking process.

4. Rental Charges and Payment

• Rental charges are determined by the selected Vehicle type, rental duration, and any additional services or equipment.
• All prices displayed on our online platform are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless otherwise stated.
• A security deposit may be required at the time of Vehicle collection. This deposit will be refunded upon the safe return of the Vehicle in its original condition, subject to any deductions for damage or additional charges.
• Payment can be made via accepted credit cards or other methods specified on our platform.

5. Vehicle Collection and Return

• You must present a valid driving license, identification, and the credit card used for booking (if applicable) at the time of Vehicle collection.
• A Vehicle inspection will be conducted before hand-over. Any existing damage will be documented.
• The Vehicle must be returned to the agreed-upon location, date, and time specified in the Rental Agreement.
• Late returns may incur additional charges.
• The Vehicle must be returned in the same condition as collected, fair wear and tear excepted, and with the fuel tank at the same level as at collection.

6. Vehicle Use and Restrictions

• The Vehicle must not be driven outside of Singapore without prior written consent from us.
• The Vehicle must not be used for illegal purposes, racing, off-roading, or towing.
• Only authorized drivers named in the Rental Agreement are permitted to operate the Vehicle.
• You are responsible for all traffic fines, parking violations, and other infractions incurred during the rental period.

7. Insurance and Liability

• Our Vehicles are covered by basic insurance as required by Singaporean law. Details of coverage and excess amounts will be provided in the Rental Agreement.
• You are responsible for any damage to the Vehicle, its accessories, or third-party property arising from your negligence or breach of these Terms, up to the insurance excess amount.
• Optional additional insurance coverage may be available for purchase to reduce your liability.
• In the event of an accident or breakdown, you must notify us immediately and follow our instructions.

8. Cancellations and Amendments

• Cancellation policies vary based on the booking type and notice period. Details will be provided during the booking process and in the Rental Agreement.
• Amendments to bookings are subject to Vehicle availability and may incur administrative fees.

9. Personal Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your personal data. Information collected during the booking and rental process will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy to facilitate our services, process payments, and comply with legal obligations. We may also use your data for marketing purposes with your explicit consent.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our online platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is our property or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our Services or the rental of any Vehicle, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

13. Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our online platform, and your continued use of our Services thereafter constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
